Get to know me... Wow, I have now lived in Asheville for four years! Seems that just a short time ago I packed up a big van and headed out from Silver City, NM to move here. Asheville has a new age energy that rocks my boat. I say, "Why not live in a sweet and progressive place? Why not have fun?" It's good to be an Asheville massage therapist.
I have been a professional massage therapist for 7 years. I attended Healing Mountain Massage School in Salt Lake City, Utah in 2003. I then became certified with the NCBTMB. (National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork). I'm also now a massage teacher. Here is the little statement I have to write exactly as they request: "Brett Rodgers is approved by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork (NCBTMB) as a continuing education Approved Provider." (#451495-10) I'm state licensed here in North Carolina (LMBT #7557). I have a natural talent for doing massage and healing work and I am constantly studying new and innovative massage therapy techniques for my own learning experience as well as my client's healing benefits.
Being a Cancer and homebody I like to work here at my home studio and sanctuary in beautiful Asheville. I run a business with a relaxed attitude and aspire to work for people that are also down to earth and friendly.
On a personal note: I love bicycling, gardening, walking, marketing, computers, documentaries, reading, animals, holistic healing, music and art. I also like to write and make videos too. Please see my holistic life coach page for all of that. I enjoy teaching others what I have learned about natural healing and aspire to do much more of that in the future.
Thank you for your time and have an incredible day! Brett Rodgers
